Pitfield London, Old St

Interesting lunchtime spot offering not only an eclectic range of interior home wares in one half of the premises (it doubles up as an exhibition and interiors shop) but also a large, and very tempting looking range of lunchtime treats.  Everything from healthy, freshly made salad boxes to homemade lasagnes & quiche, to large jampacked baguettes and flatbreads. This place really does seem to offer it all. There’s even a gorgeous selection of cakes and sweet treats (including macaroons). Most are in the £4.50 – £6.50 bracket which seemed reasonable for the standard of food on offer. After much deliberation, I ordered  the vegetable quiche with a small salad box (£6.50) and it was very good. Undeniably homemade and really fresh ingredients, it was a decent portion size too.

Lots of seating, lovely atmosphere and one of the largest selection of lunch options in one place. Recommend popping in for a nosey…
